4-I guide
They could not even get up, and they had no one to help them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever felt the ground tremble, even a little?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Could anyone help them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are people so weak compared to Allah's power?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 45. The key word qiyam means standing up, and they could not even stand. However strong people think they are, they are weak before Allah's power. In an earthquake today, people drop, cover and hold on. Remembering our weakness makes us humble.
Fact: Where is the safest place to be indoors during an earthquake?
Ages 5–8: Drop and cover. Practise dropping under a table and holding on for ten seconds.
Ages 9–12: Safe spots. Find the safest place in each room of your home during an earthquake.
Finish with: "I found that the safest place indoors is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise drop, cover and hold on with my family."
Action: Practise drop, cover and hold on with your family.
