وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
Wa mina -llay'li fassabbiḥ'hu wa'ad'bāra ssujūdi
And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration.

Ask: "What do you say after you finish your salah?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When else should we glorify Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it good to stay a little after salah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Qaf is surah 50. Find ayah 40. The key words adbar as-sujud mean after the prostrations. Allah asks us to remember Him at night and after our prayers. Many Muslims stay seated after salah for a few minutes of dhikr. Ask your teacher which words to say.
Fact: What are three short phrases of dhikr Muslims often say after salah?
Ages 5–8: Dhikr beads. Count dhikr on your fingers after one salah each day.
Ages 9–12: Dhikr tracker. Keep a chart of your dhikr after each prayer for a week.
Finish with: "I found that three phrases of dhikr are ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay seated for one minute of dhikr after every salah."
Action: Stay seated for one minute of dhikr after every salah.
