وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ
Wa jā'at' sak'ratu l-maw'ti bil-ḥaqqi . dhālika mā kunta min'hu taḥīdu
And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!"

The daze of death will come with the truth; this is what you tried to run from.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What are the stages in a butterfly's life?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah say comes to everyone?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make my life full of good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Qaf is surah 50. Find ayah 19. The key words sakrat al-mawt mean the daze of death. Every living thing has a set time on Earth, like the stages of a butterfly's life. Some people try not to think about it. Believers remember it calmly and use their time to do good, knowing they will return to Allah.
Fact: How long does a butterfly usually live?
Ages 5–8: Seasons wheel. Draw a tree in spring, summer, autumn and winter on a paper plate.
Ages 9–12: Good life list. Write five things you would like to be remembered for.
Finish with: "I found that a butterfly usually lives about ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed I have been putting off."
Action: Do one good deed you have been putting off.
