وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa tarā kathīran mmin'hum' yussāriʻūna fī l-'ith'mi wal-ʻud'wāni wa'ak'lihimu ssuḥ'ta . labi''sa mā kānū yaʻ'malūna
Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do.

Many were seen rushing into sin and wrongdoing and consuming what is unlawful; how evil is what they did.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is speed always good?"
Play the short Al-Ma'idah clip of ayat 61–65 from CINTA NGAJI TV.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were they rushing into?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why race into wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 62. Earlier the Qur'an told believers to race in good deeds. Here it describes the opposite: racing in wrong. We choose which race to run.
Fact: Al-Ma'idah 5:48 says race in good deeds.
Ages 5–8: Good race. Race to do a kind act first.
Ages 9–12: Two races. Compare racing in good and racing in wrong.
Finish with: "We race in good, not ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will rush to help when I'm asked."
Action: Rush to help when you're asked.
