Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Can you sit near goodness and not take any in?"

A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 61 of Al-Ma'idah. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they say?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't they change?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 61. Being near good isn't enough; we must open our hearts. Allah knows what is inside.

Fact: Muhammad 47:16 is about people who listen but don't take it in.

Ages 5–8: Open heart. Sit in a class and share one thing you learned.

Ages 9–12: Taking it in. Write how to really benefit from a lesson.

Finish with: "Allah knows what we ___."

Talk together:

• What did they say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why no change?
• How do you take in good?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one lesson I learned at the masjid or class."

• Take in good.
• Allah knows.
