لَوْلَا يَنْهَىٰهُمُ ٱلرَّبَّٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلْأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ ٱلْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ
How to read it
Law'lā yan'hāhumu rrabbāniyyūna wal-'aḥ'bāru ʻan qaw'lihimu l-'ith'ma wa'ak'lihimu ssuḥ'ta . labi''sa mā kānū yaṣ'naʻūna
Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works.
