أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَن لَّن يُخْرِجَ ٱللَّهُ أَضْغَٰنَهُمْ
'Am' ḥassiba -lladhīna fī qulūbihim mmaraḍun 'an llan yukh'rija -llahu 'aḍ'ghānahum'
Or do those in whose hearts is a disease, think that Allah will not bring to light all their rancour?

Do those with sick hearts think Allah will never bring their hidden hatred into the open?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when we hold on to anger for a long time?"
Watch the Magic Kids Stories video Letting Go of the Past.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these people think they could hide?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I clean my heart of grudges?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Muhammad is surah 47. Find ayah 29. The key word adghanahum means their hidden grudges. Some people hid hatred for the believers, thinking it would stay secret. But what is inside usually shows on the outside. Letting go of grudges keeps our hearts clean and light.
Fact: How does holding anger affect your body?
Ages 5–8: Let it float. Write a worry or anger on paper, then crumple it and throw it away.
Ages 9–12: Forgiveness letter. Write (but don't send) a letter forgiving someone.
Finish with: "I found that holding anger makes my body ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will forgive someone and ask Allah to clean my heart."
Action: Forgive someone and ask Allah to clean your heart.
