Opening the ayah…
وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ
Wa fī khal'qikum' wamā yabuththu min dābbatin 'āyātun lliqaw'min yūqinūna
And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith.
Translation: Abdullah Yusuf Ali

4-I guide
In your own creation and in the animals He has spread around are signs for people who are certain.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do birds know where to fly every winter?"
Watch the Little School video Animal Migration.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two kinds of signs does the ayah mention?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who teaches animals the way home?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jathiyah is surah 45. Find ayah 4. The key word dabbah means any creature that moves. Allah spread animals over land, sea and sky. Some travel thousands of kilometres and find the same place every year. Our own bodies are signs too: the heart beats without us telling it to. These are signs for people who think deeply.
Fact: Which bird makes the longest migration?
Ages 5–8: Animal journeys. Draw one animal and the path it travels.
Ages 9–12: Body wonders. List five things your body does without you thinking.
Finish with: "I found that the longest migration is made by the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will watch one animal closely and say what I notice."
Action: Watch one animal closely and say what you notice.
