Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How will each community be on that Day?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What would I like to be written in my book?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jathiyah is surah 45. Find ayah 28. The key word jathiyah means kneeling, and it is the name of this surah. On the Day of Judgement, every community will kneel in humility, waiting to be called to its record. Each person will be repaid for exactly what they did. The good news is that we are still writing our book now.

Fact: Why is this surah called Al-Jathiyah?

Ages 5–8: My good page. Draw a page of your book of deeds with three good deeds on it.

Ages 9–12: Page planner. Plan what good deeds you would like on tomorrow's page.

Finish with: "I found that the surah is named after ___."

Talk together:
