4-I guide
This is a mercy from your Lord, who hears everything and knows everything.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does sound get from one person to another?"
Watch the Give Spark video How Does Sound Travel?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names of Allah end the ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can Allah hear everyone at once?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 6. The key word rahmatan means as a mercy. Sending the Quran was a mercy. Sound needs air to travel, and our ears can only hear nearby sounds. But Allah, as-Sami', hears every voice and every whispered du'a at once, and al-'Alim knows what is in every heart.
Fact: Can sound travel in space?
Ages 5–8: String phone. Make a phone from two cups and a string and whisper messages.
Ages 9–12: Mercy list. Write five ways the Quran is a mercy to you.
Finish with: "I found that in space sound ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will whisper a du'a to Allah every night."
Action: Whisper a du'a to Allah every night.
