4-I guide
On that night every wise matter is made clear and decided.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does it mean that Allah plans everything?"
Watch the IQRA Cartoon Ramadan lesson Qadr.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens on that night?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah has a plan, why should I still try my best?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 4. The key word yufraqu means it is set apart and made clear. On Laylat al-Qadr, the affairs of the coming year are set out by Allah's wisdom. Allah's plan is always wise. Our part is to make du'a, work hard and trust Him.
Fact: What does the word qadr mean?
Ages 5–8: Plan and pray. Write one thing you hope for this year and make du'a for it.
Ages 9–12: My part, Allah's plan. Write what you can do and what you leave to Allah's wise plan.
Finish with: "I found that qadr means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for something I hope for this year."
Action: Make du'a for something you hope for this year.
