Opening the ayah…
مَا خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Mā khalaq'nāhumā 'illā bil-ḥaqqi walākinna 'ak'tharahum' lā yaʻ'lamūna
We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
Translation: Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Guided by the 4-I journey: Inspire, Investigate, Integrate, Impart. Use it as a starting point and make it your own.
Opening the guide…
No reflections for this ayah yet. Be the first, by reflecting with the 4-I journey below!
4-I guide
We created them only with truth, though most people do not realise it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you name the planets in order?"
Watch The Color Alchemist video Planet Order Song.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "With what were the heavens and earth created?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the universe so well organised?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 39. The key words ma khalaqnahuma mean We did not create them except. The planets move in the same order, the sun rises on time, and seasons follow each other. This order shows a wise Creator. Sadly, most people don't stop to think about it.
Fact: Which planet takes the longest to go around the sun?
Ages 5–8: Planet march. Line up toys in planet order and march them round a "sun".
Ages 9–12: Order list. List five examples of order in nature.
Finish with: "I found that the slowest planet around the sun is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep my room tidy and orderly, as a small sign of thanks."
Action: Keep your room tidy and orderly, as a small sign of thanks.
