فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ
Famā bakat' ʻalay'himu ssamā'u wal-'ar'ḍu wamā kānū munẓarīna
And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again).

Neither the sky nor the earth wept for them, and they were given no more time.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do the earth and the sky praise Allah?"
Watch the MiniMuslims nasheed Allah Made the World.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did not weep for Pharaoh's people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Would the earth miss me if I were gone?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 29. The key words fa-ma bakat mean so they did not weep. Scholars explain that the places where a believer prayed and did good miss them when they are gone. Pharaoh's people left no good behind, so nothing in creation missed them. We can leave good marks everywhere we go.
Fact: How many times do we pray on the earth each day?
Ages 5–8: Good marks. Do three good things in three different places today.
Ages 9–12: Places that remember. List places where you pray or do good, and add one new place this week.
Finish with: "I found that we pray ___ times a day."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pray in a new place, like the garden or a park."
Action: Pray in a new place, like the garden or a park.
