Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How do you think it feels to be rescued?"

Watch the Stories of the Prophets video Prophet Musa, Part 3. You can watch part of it.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "From what did Allah save them?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Does Allah always help people who are treated unfairly?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 30. The key word najjayna means We saved. For years, the Children of Israel were forced to work hard and treated without dignity. Allah rescued them through Musa. Allah sees people who are treated unfairly and helps them, in His time and in His way.

Fact: What does the word oppression mean?

Ages 5–8: Helper hands. Trace your hand and write one way you can help someone who is treated unfairly.

Ages 9–12: Rescue stories. Find one more story in the Quran where Allah rescued believers.

Finish with: "I found that oppression means ___."

Talk together:

• Why is dignity important for every person?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can we help people who are treated unfairly?
• What other rescue stories do you know?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for people who are treated unfairly around the world."

• Make du'a for the oppressed.
• Trace helper hands.
• Share rescue stories.
• Next time: the next ayah (44:31) describes Pharaoh's pride. Explore it together!

Action: Make du'a for people who are treated unfairly around the world.
