4-I guide
That is how it was, and We gave it all to another people.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who really owns the things we have?"
Watch the Zain Bhikha Kids song Everything Belongs To Allah, voice only.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who received what Pharaoh's people left?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If everything belongs to Allah, how should I treat my things?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 28. The key word awrathnaha means We gave it as an inheritance. Pharaoh's people thought their land was theirs forever, but Allah passed it to others. Everything we hold is on loan from Allah for a while. Looking after it well is part of thanking Him.
Fact: What does the word inherit mean?
Ages 5–8: Borrowed book. Borrow a book, look after it carefully, and return it in good condition.
Ages 9–12: On loan. Write three things that are "on loan" to you and how to care for them.
Finish with: "I found that inherit means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look after my belongings as gifts on loan from Allah."
Action: Look after your belongings as gifts on loan from Allah.
