Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa ask Pharaoh for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Where did Musa find the courage to speak to a king?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 18. The key words rasulun amin mean a trustworthy messenger. Musa went bravely to Pharaoh and asked him to let the Children of Israel go free. He introduced himself as trustworthy, someone who would never lie. Speaking up for people who are treated unfairly takes courage and honesty.

Fact: What does the word amin mean?

Ages 5–8: Brave voice. Practise saying "That's not fair" calmly in a pretend situation.

Ages 9–12: Speak up. Write about a time someone needed help and how you could speak up kindly.

Finish with: "I found that amin means ___."
