سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Sub'ḥāna rabbi ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi rabbi l-ʻar'shi ʻammā yaṣifūna
Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)!

Glory be to the Lord of the skies and the earth, Lord of the Throne, far above what they describe.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does subhanallah mean?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is Allah far above?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that Allah is Lord of the Throne?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 82. The key word subhana means glory be, far above. When we say subhanallah, we declare that Allah is far above any weakness or wrong idea about Him. The Throne, al-'Arsh, is the greatest of Allah's creations, and Allah is its Lord.
Fact: What is al-'Arsh?
Ages 5–8: Subhanallah walk. Go for a walk and say subhanallah at five amazing things.
Ages 9–12: Far above. Write three wrong ideas about Allah that subhanallah rejects.
Finish with: "I found that al-'Arsh is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanallah thirty-three times after one prayer each day."
Action: Say subhanallah thirty-three times after one prayer each day.
