Qul' 'in kāna li rraḥ'māni waladun fa'anā 'awwalu l-ʻābidīna
Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship."

Say that if the Most Merciful had a child, you would be the first to honour him, but He has none.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does Surah Al-Ikhlas tell us about Allah?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would the Prophet do if it were true?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does this ayah show that Allah has no son?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 81. The key words in kana mean if there were. This ayah uses a clever argument: the Prophet was the most devoted worshipper of Allah, so if Allah had a son, he would be first to honour him. But Allah has no son, as Surah Al-Ikhlas says: He does not give birth and was not born.

Ages 5–8: Ikhlas card. Make a card with the four ayat of Al-Ikhlas in your own words.
Ages 9–12: Clever argument. Explain in your own words how this ayah shows Allah has no son.

Talk together:
