أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
'Am' yaḥ'sabūna 'annā lā nas'maʻu sirrahum' wanaj'wāhum . balā warussulunā laday'him' yak'tubūna
Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record.

They wrongly imagine Allah cannot hear their secrets and whispers, yet He hears them and His angels beside them write everything down.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does Allah know what we whisper?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah hear?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does it feel to know Allah hears even my secrets?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 80. The key word najwahum means their secret talk. The plotters whispered, thinking no one would know. But Allah hears every secret, and angels write down every deed. This is a warning for plotters and a comfort for believers: our hidden good is also seen.
Fact: What are the angels who record deeds called?
Ages 5–8: Whisper kindness. Whisper something kind to someone and remember Allah heard it.
Ages 9–12: Hidden good. Write three good deeds no one saw but Allah.
Finish with: "I found that the recording angels are called ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will only say things in private that I'd be happy for Allah to hear."
Action: Keep private words good.
