Opening the ayah…
فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Falammā 'āssafūnā (i)ntaqam'nā min'hum' fa'agh'raq'nāhum' 'aj'maʻīna
When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all.

4-I guide
When they provoked Allah's anger, He punished them and drowned every one of them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happened when Pharaoh chased Musa to the sea?"
Watch the Little Believers video The Story of Prophet Musa.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened in the end?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah wait so long before punishing them?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 55. The key word asafuna means they angered Us. Allah gave Pharaoh's people chance after chance, sign after sign. Only after they kept rejecting and broke every promise did the end come. Allah is patient, but He is also just.
Fact: What does the name of Allah as-Sabur mean?
Ages 5–8: Chances jar. Put a bead in a jar for each chance someone gives you, and say thank you.
Ages 9–12: Patience and justice. Write how Allah's patience and justice both appear in this story.
Finish with: "I found that as-Sabur means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use a second chance to do better."
Action: Use a second chance to do better.
