Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why was the Nile delta so important to Egypt?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh boast about?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Did Pharaoh make the rivers flow?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 51. The key words tajri min tahti mean flowing beneath me. Pharaoh pointed at the Nile and its canals as if they proved his greatness. But he did not make the water flow; Allah did. Boasting about gifts as if we made them is a big mistake.

Ages 5–8: Who made it? Point to five things at home and say who really made them possible.

Ages 9–12: Delta map. Draw the Nile delta and label how its channels spread out.

Finish with: "I found that a delta is ___."
