وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ
Wa 'innahu fī 'ummi l-kitābi laday'nā laʻaliyyun ḥakīmun
And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom.

4-I guide
The Quran is recorded in the Mother of the Book with Allah, lofty and full of wisdom.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where do you keep your most important things safe?"
Watch the short islamicways clip about the Preserved Tablet.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where is the Quran kept?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the Mother of the Book?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 4. The key words umm al-kitab mean the Mother of the Book. Many scholars explain this as al-Lawh al-Mahfuz, the Preserved Tablet, kept with Allah. The Quran was written there before it came down, high in honour and full of wisdom. Nothing can change it.
Fact: What does mahfuz mean?
Ages 5–8: Safe box. Decorate a box for something precious and talk about what keeps things safe.
Ages 9–12: High and wise. Write why the Quran is called high and full of wisdom.
Finish with: "I found that mahfuz means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will revise one surah I memorised before, to keep it safe in my heart."
Action: Revise a surah you know.
