أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا مُّسْرِفِينَ
'Afanaḍ'ribu ʻankumu dhdhik'ra ṣaf'ḥan 'an kuntum' qaw'man mmus'rifīna
Shall We then take away the Message from you and repel (you), for that ye are a people transgressing beyond bounds?

Should We turn the reminder away from you because you are a people who go beyond limits?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does Allah stop listening when we make mistakes?"
Watch the ZikrToon story The Secret Dua of a Child.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah ask about the reminder?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah keep reminding people?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 5. The key word adh-dhikr means the reminder. Even though many people in Makkah rejected the Quran and went too far, Allah did not stop sending it. That is His mercy: He keeps reminding, giving people chance after chance to come back.
Fact: Over how many years did the reminder keep coming to Makkah and Madinah?
Ages 5–8: Second chance. Give someone a second chance today when they make a mistake.
Ages 9–12: Reminder notes. Write three gentle reminders you could give a friend.
Finish with: "I found that the Quran kept coming for ___ years."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remind someone of something good, gently."
Action: Remind someone of something good, gently.
