وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُۥ شَيْطَٰنًۭا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٌۭ
Wa man yaʻ'shu ʻan dhik'ri rraḥ'māni nuqayyiḍ' lahu shay'ṭānan fahuwa lahu qarīnun
If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (Allah) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him.

Whoever turns away from remembering the Most Merciful, We assign him a devil who becomes his companion.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should we do when a bad thought whispers to us?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to someone who turns away from remembering Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does dhikr protect me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 36. The key word qarin means a close companion. When a person stops remembering Allah, shaytan moves in like a bad friend who whispers wrong ideas. Remembering Allah, through dhikr, Quran and salah, keeps that companion away. A heart full of remembrance has no room for him.
Fact: What is dhikr?
Ages 5–8: Full heart. Draw a heart filled with dhikr words so there is no room for bad whispers.
Ages 9–12: Whisper blocker. Write three things you can do when you notice a bad thought.
Finish with: "I found that dhikr means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say a dhikr whenever a bad thought comes."
Action: Say a dhikr whenever a bad thought comes.
