وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةًۢ بَاقِيَةًۭ فِى عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa jaʻalahā kalimatan[m] bāqiyatan fī ʻaqibihī laʻallahum' yar'jiʻūna
And he left it as a Word to endure among those who came after him, that they may turn back (to Allah).

He made it a word that lasts among his descendants, so that they might return.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you like to pass on to your own children one day?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Ibrahim leave behind?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did one word last for thousands of years?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 28. The key words kalimatan baqiyah mean a lasting word, the message of worshipping Allah alone. Ibrahim passed it to his sons Isma'il and Ishaq, and it continued through prophets until the Prophet Muhammad, who was from Ibrahim's family. Today we still carry it.
Fact: Which two sons of Ibrahim were prophets?
Ages 5–8: Pass it on. Teach a younger child that Allah is One.
Ages 9–12: Family chain. Draw a chain from Ibrahim to the Prophet Muhammad through Isma'il.
Finish with: "I found that Ibrahim's prophet sons were ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will teach someone younger one thing about Allah."
Action: Teach someone younger one thing about Allah.
