فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Fa-ntaqam'nā min'hum' . fa-nẓur' kay'fa kāna ʻāqibatu l-mukadhdhibīna
So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)!

So We punished them; see how those who denied ended up.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do we study what happened to people long ago?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are we told to look at?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What can endings teach us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 25. The key word 'aqibah means the ending, the outcome. The Quran often says "look at the ending" because the end of a story shows whether choices were wise. Peoples who rejected their warners ended badly. We can learn from their endings without making their mistakes.
Fact: What does an archaeologist study?
Ages 5–8: Story endings. Tell a short story twice with a good choice and a bad choice, and compare the endings.
Ages 9–12: Ending first. Write a story starting from a good ending and work backwards to the choices.
Finish with: "I found that an archaeologist studies ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think 'How will this end?' before one choice each day."
Action: Think 'How will this end?' before one choice each day.
