Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who else received revelation?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did revelation come to the prophets?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 3. The key word yuhi means He reveals or sends inspiration. The Prophet was not the first to receive a message from Allah. Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa and many others received revelation too. The message came from the same source, Allah, Al-Aziz and Al-Hakim, the Mighty and the Wise.

Fact: What was the name of the cave where the first revelation came?

Ages 5–8: Message chain. Pass a whispered message around the family and see if it stays the same.

Ages 9–12: Prophet timeline. Put five prophets in order on a timeline from Adam to Muhammad.

Finish with: "I found that the cave was called ___."
