لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Lahu mā fī ssamāwāti wamā fī l-'ar'ḍi . wahuwa l-ʻaliyyu l-ʻaẓīmu
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: and He is Most High, Most Great.

All things in the skies and on the earth are His, and He is the Most High and the Most Great.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the tallest thing you have ever seen?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two names of Allah end this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that Allah is Most High?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 4. The key words al-aliyy al-azim mean the Most High, the Most Great. Everything we own is really a gift on loan, because it all belongs to Allah. Mountains, oceans, stars and even our own bodies are His. Al-Aliyy means nothing is above Him, and Al-Azim means His greatness has no limit.
Fact: Which famous ayah in Surah Al-Baqarah ends with these same two names?
Ages 5–8: Whose is it? Point to things in the room and say together: this is a gift from Allah.
Ages 9–12: Size ladder. List things from small to huge (ant, house, mountain, Earth, sun, galaxy) and reflect that Allah is greater than all.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah in Al-Baqarah is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look after one of my things as a gift from Allah."
Action: Look after one of your things as a gift from Allah.
