Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Can you imagine something that is not like anything you have ever seen?"

Watch the Tarbiyah Outside the Box read-aloud There is Nothing Like Allaah.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is said to be not like Allah?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If nothing is like Allah, how can we know Him?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 11. The key words laysa ka-mithlihi shay' mean there is nothing like Him. Allah made humans and animals in pairs so families can grow. But Allah Himself is not like anything He created. We know Him through His names and His creation, such as As-Sami, the All-Hearing, and Al-Basir, the All-Seeing.

Fact: Which name of Allah in this ayah means the All-Seeing?

Ages 5–8: Pairs hunt outside. Find pairs in nature, like two wings on a bird or two leaves on a stem.

Ages 9–12: Names, not pictures. Write three names of Allah and how each one helps you know Him without imagining a shape.

Finish with: "I found that the All-Seeing is ___."
