وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبِّى عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ
Wa mā (i)kh'talaf'tum' fīhi min shay''in faḥuk'muhu 'ilā-llahi . dhālikumu -llahu rabbī ʻalay'hi tawakkaltu wa'ilay'hi 'unību
Whatever it be wherein ye differ, the decision thereof is with Allah: such is Allah my Lord: In Him I trust, and to Him I turn.

Whatever you disagree about, the ruling is Allah's; He is my Lord, I rely on Him, and to Him I turn.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When two friends disagree, how can they settle it fairly?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who decides when people disagree?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does trusting Allah help in an argument?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 10. The key word tawakkaltu means I put my trust. When people argue, Allah's guidance in the Quran and the Sunnah is the fair judge. The Prophet says: Allah is my Lord, I trust Him and I turn back to Him. Trusting Allah means doing our part and then leaving the result to Him.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah An-Nisa tells believers to refer disagreements back to Allah and the Messenger?
Ages 5–8: Trust walk. One person is gently guided across the room with eyes closed, then talk about trust.
Ages 9–12: Calm steps. Write three steps for settling an argument fairly using what Allah teaches.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah in An-Nisa is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I disagree, I will stop and ask what Allah wants."
Action: This week, when you disagree, stop and ask what Allah wants.
