Then they will be asked: where are those you used to set up as partners?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can anything we worship besides Allah help us?"
Watch the Deen Love Kids video Tawheed, the Oneness of Allah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question will they be asked?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why will the false gods be missing?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 73. The key word tushrikun means you associate as partners. On that Day, people who worshipped idols or other things besides Allah will be asked: where are they now? Their false gods will be nowhere to be found. Only Allah remains.
Fact: Which surah begins? Blessed is the One in whose hand is the kingdom?
Ages 5–8: Hide and seek. Hide a toy so it cannot be found, then talk about how false gods disappear when needed.
Ages 9–12: Only One. Write three reasons we worship only Allah.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember that only Allah truly helps."
Action: Remember that only Allah truly helps.
