Into boiling water, and then they will be burned in the Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who tries to lead people away from Allah?"
Watch the Islam For Kids video The Devil's Attack, A Lesson of Faith.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why does Allah warn us so clearly?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I protect myself from Shaytan's tricks?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 72. The key word al-hamim means boiling water. Allah's warnings are clear because He cares about us and does not want anyone to end up in the Fire. Shaytan is our greatest enemy and tries to lead people there. Allah has given us the Quran, salah and du'a to stay safe.
Fact: Which surah's name means The Overwhelming Event?
Ages 5–8: Safety tools. Draw three tools Allah gave us for safety: the Quran, salah and du'a.
Ages 9–12: Enemy tricks. Write two tricks Shaytan uses and how to answer each.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will seek refuge in Allah when I feel tempted to do wrong."
Action: Seek refuge in Allah when you feel tempted to do wrong.
