ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَبِمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا بِهِۦ رُسُلَنَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Alladhīna kadhdhabū bil-kitābi wabimā 'ar'salnā bihī russulanā . fassaw'fa yaʻ'lamūna
Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,-

Those who deny the Book and what We sent Our messengers with will soon come to know.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is the Quran so special?"
Watch the Islamic Kids National video What is the Quran? You can play just the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these people deny?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I show I love the Quran?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 70. The key word kadhdhabu means they denied. Some people rejected the Quran and the messages of earlier messengers. They will soon see the truth. Believers do the opposite: they welcome the Book, read it, learn from it and live by it.
Fact: About how many ayat are there in the whole Quran?
Ages 5–8: Quran corner. Make a clean, special corner at home for the mushaf.
Ages 9–12: My Quran goal. Set a reading or memorising goal for this month and track it.
Finish with: "I found that the Quran has about ___ ayat."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read a little Quran every day."
Action: Read a little Quran every day.
