أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُونَ
'Alam' tara 'ilā-lladhīna yujādilūna fī 'āyāti -llahi 'annā yuṣ'rafūna
Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?-

Have you not seen those who argue about Allah's signs, and how they are turned aside?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is a good way to talk with someone who disagrees with you?"
Watch the 92 Campus video Islamic Manners, Basic Islamic Course for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to those who argue against Allah's signs?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some people argue instead of thinking?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 69. The key word yujadiluna means they dispute. This surah mentions people who argue about Allah's signs several times. Arguing just to win closes the heart, while honest questions open it. Islam teaches good manners even in disagreement.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Ankabut tells us to discuss only in the kindest way?
Ages 5–8: Kind talk. Practise disagreeing kindly about a favourite food or colour.
Ages 9–12: Argue or discuss? Write the difference between arguing to win and discussing to learn.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Ankabut ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will discuss kindly instead of arguing."
Action: Discuss kindly instead of arguing.
