Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Can you name something that Allah did not create?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah create?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah made everything, who should we worship?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 62. The key word khaliq means Creator. Everything we see, from ants to galaxies, was made by Allah. Since He created all things, only He deserves worship. The ayah asks a gentle but strong question: with all these signs, how can anyone turn away from Him?

Ages 5–8: Made by Allah. Walk around the house and garden pointing at things and saying: Allah made this.

Ages 9–12: Made or made from. List ten things people make and what Allah-made materials they come from.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-An'am ___."

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why does that mean only He is worshipped?
• What creation amazes you most?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanAllah each time I notice something beautiful."
