Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to deeds mixed with shirk?"

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 65. The key word yahbatanna means will surely be lost. This message was given to every prophet: worshipping others with Allah wipes out good deeds. Tawhid is like the foundation of a house; good deeds are the walls. Without a strong foundation, the house cannot stand.

Ages 5–8: Foundation build. Build a block tower with and without a solid base and see which stands.

Ages 9–12: Tawhid first. Write why tawhid comes before all other deeds.
