4-I guide
Say: I have been commanded to worship Allah, keeping my religion purely for Him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Did the Prophet follow the same rules he taught others?"
Watch the Abu Bakr Zoud video Introduce your children to the meaning of sincerity.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was the Prophet commanded?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Prophet show sincerity?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 11. The key word umirtu means I have been commanded. The Prophet did not just tell others to be sincere; he said, I myself have been commanded to worship Allah sincerely. Good teachers live by what they teach. We follow his example by keeping our worship pure.
Fact: Which is the first of the five pillars of Islam?
Ages 5–8: Follow the leader. Copy a parent's good actions, like saying bismillah, for one meal.
Ages 9–12: Practise what you preach. Write one thing you tell others to do and check whether you do it too.
Finish with: "I found that the first pillar is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do the good things I remind others to do."
Action: Do the good things you remind others to do.
