Say: this is news of enormous importance.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the biggest news you have ever shared with your family?"
Watch TheProphetsPath video Good News.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How is the message described?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the Quran called big news?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 67. The key word naba' means news, important information. The Quran is not ordinary news that is forgotten tomorrow. It tells us who made us, why we are here and where we are going. That makes it the most important news a person can hear.
Fact: Which surah begins by asking about the great news?
Ages 5–8: News reporter. Pretend to be a news reporter and announce one good thing you learned from the Quran.
Ages 9–12: Headline. Write a newspaper headline that sums up the message of Surah Sad.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is An-___, number ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one thing I learned from the Quran with someone."
Action: Share one thing you learned from the Quran with someone.
