وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
Wa -dh'kur' 'is'māʻīla wal-yassaʻa wadhā l-kif'li . wakullun mmina l-'akh'yāri
And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good.

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do you know a prophet whose name is mentioned only a few times in the Quran?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which three prophets are named here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What did Dhul-Kifl do?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 48. The key word al-akhyar means the good, the righteous. Ismail helped his father Ibrahim build the Kaaba. Al-Yasa and Dhul-Kifl are mentioned only briefly, yet Allah honours them as righteous. Being good matters more than being famous.
Fact: In which surah are Ismail, Idris and Dhul-Kifl named together as patient?
Ages 5–8: Quiet hero. Name someone who does good quietly at home or school and thank them.
Ages 9–12: Prophet cards. Make a card for each prophet in this ayah with one fact about him.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is Al-___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do a good deed that nobody sees."
Action: Do a good deed that nobody sees.
