Start with bismillah.

Ask: "If you could ask Allah for one big thing, what would it be?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Sulaiman ask for before asking for a kingdom?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Is it okay to ask Allah for big things?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 35. The key word al-Wahhab means the One who gives generously. Sulaiman began by asking forgiveness, then asked for something huge. He knew Allah's treasures never run out. Allah answered, giving him power over wind and jinn that no one else would have.

Ages 5–8: Big ask. Write or draw one big, good thing you want to ask Allah for.

Ages 9–12: Du'a steps. Write the steps of a good du'a: praise, forgiveness, request and thanks.

Finish with: "I found that the du'a is in Surah Nuh, ayah ___."
