Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did Allah send down this Book?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I think deeply about an ayah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 29. The key word yaddabbaru comes from tadabbur, which means thinking deeply and reflecting. That is exactly what this programme is named after! Allah calls the Quran mubarak, full of blessing. We do not just read it quickly; we stop, ask questions and let it change how we live.

Ages 5–8: Slow read. Read one short ayah slowly three times and say one thing you noticed.

Ages 9–12: Reflection journal. Start a notebook and write one ayah, one question and one action.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Muhammad ___."

• What does it mean to reflect on the Quran?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Which ayah has made you think the most?
• How can reflecting change what we do?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will write one reflection about an ayah in my journal."
