4-I guide
Sad; by the Quran that holds the reminder.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you remember something important?"
Watch the M Asif video Surah Sad by Mishary Al Afasy. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah swear by in this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some surahs start with single letters?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38, and it has eighty-eight ayat. It opens with one Arabic letter, Sad. Only Allah knows the full meaning of these opening letters. The key word dhikr means reminder. Allah swears by the Quran, a Book that keeps reminding us of what matters. This surah tells of Dawud, Sulaiman, Ayyub and the story of Adam and Iblis.
Fact: Which ayah of Surah Sad has a mark for a prostration of recitation?
Ages 5–8: Letter hunt. Find the letter Sad in the mushaf and count how many times you spot it on one page.
Ages 9–12: Story map. Skim the surah and list each prophet it mentions, with the ayah numbers.
Finish with: "I found that the prostration mark is at ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read one short part of the Quran each day as my reminder."
Action: Read one short part of the Quran each day as your reminder.
