4-I guide
And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What are you most thankful to Allah for after learning this surah?"
Watch the Muslim Pro App video Thank You Allah: A Lesson in Gratitude for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does the whole surah end?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the surah end with praise?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 182. The key word al-hamd means all praise and thanks. The surah ends just as the Quran begins in Al-Fatihah: praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. We have travelled with angels in rows, the sincere servants, and the prophets Nuh, Ibrahim, Ishaq, Musa, Harun, Ilyas, Lut and Yunus. Everything ends in thanks to Allah.
Fact: Which other surah also closes with praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds, in its last ayah?
Ages 5–8: Thank-you circle. Sit together and each say one thing you are thankful to Allah for.
Ages 9–12: Surah journey. Write five lessons you learned from Surah As-Saffat.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will end each day by thanking Allah for three things."
Action: End each day by thanking Allah for three things.
