4-I guide
We would surely have been devoted servants of Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it enough to say we would be good, or must we actually be good?"
Watch the Mufti Menk video Sincerity and Ikhlas: Purifying Intentions.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they claim they would be?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be sincere today, not just one day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 169. The key word al-mukhlasin echoes the sincere servants mentioned throughout the surah. The Quraysh claimed they would have been sincere. But sincerity is shown by action, not by wishes. The sincere servants in this surah, from Nuh to Yunus, proved it through patience and obedience.
Fact: Which surah of the Quran is named Al-Ikhlas, sincerity?
Ages 5–8: Do it now. Choose one good deed and do it right away instead of later.
Ages 9–12: Proof of sincerity. Write how each prophet in this surah showed sincerity through action.
Finish with: "I found that Al-Ikhlas is surah number ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do a good deed now instead of saying I will do it later."
Action: Do good now, not later.
