4-I guide
Peace be upon Ilyas.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel when someone sends you a message of peace?"
Watch the Jellybean Tales video As-Salaam.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah send upon Ilyas?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Ilyas's name said slightly differently here?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 130. The key word Ilyasin is a form of the name Ilyas, used here to match the rhythm of the surah. Allah sends peace on him just as He did for Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa and Harun. Peace from Allah is the highest honour.
Fact: What rhythm sound do many ayat in Surah As-Saffat end with?
Ages 5–8: Peace greeting. Practise giving salam with a big smile to three people.
Ages 9–12: Rhythm listen. Listen to part of the surah and note the sounds at the end of the ayat.
Finish with: "I found that many ayat end with ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet people with salam and a smile."
Action: Greet people with salam and a smile.
