4-I guide
Peace be on Musa and Harun.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does the greeting assalamu alaikum mean?"
Watch the Islamic Kids National video Allah Is Al-Quddus, As-Salam, Al-Mu'min.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah send upon Musa and Harun?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is peace such an important word in Islam?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 120. The key word salam means peace. Allah, As-Salam, the Source of Peace, sends peace upon these two brothers. Muslims greet each other with salam too. Spreading salam brings hearts together and fills homes with calm.
Fact: What does the name As-Salam mean?
Ages 5–8: Salam spree. Greet everyone in your family with salam today.
Ages 9–12: Peace maker. Write three ways to spread peace at home or school.
Finish with: "I found that As-Salam means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet people with salam first."
Action: Greet people with salam first.
