Opening the ayah…
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Wa tarak'nā ʻalay'himā fī l-'ākhirīna
And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times:

4-I guide
And We left them a lasting good mention among those who came after.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which prophet's name is mentioned most often in the Quran?"
Watch the Rooh and Rhymes video Everything Says SubhanAllah, a no-instruments medley.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah leave for Musa and Harun?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are Musa and Harun remembered so much?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 119. The key word 'alayhima means upon the two of them. Musa is the prophet named most often in the whole Quran, and his brother Harun is remembered with him. Their courage before Pharaoh, their patience and their brotherhood are honoured forever.
Fact: Roughly how many times is Musa's name mentioned in the Quran?
Ages 5–8: Brothers drawing. Draw Musa and Harun standing together, brave and kind.
Ages 9–12: Lessons list. Write three lessons from the story of Musa and Harun.
Finish with: "I found that Musa is mentioned about ___ times."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be a helpful brother or sister like Harun."
Action: Be a helpful brother or sister like Harun.
