And We certainly showed favour to Musa and Harun.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can brothers or sisters help each other do good?"
Watch the Little Kids of Jannah video The Story of Prophet Haroon, Brother of Musa.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two prophets are mentioned?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Musa ask for his brother's help?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 114. The key word mananna means We showed favour. Musa and Harun were brothers and prophets. Musa asked Allah to make Harun his helper, because Harun spoke clearly. Together they faced Pharaoh. Brothers and sisters can be a team for good.
Fact: In which surah does Musa ask Allah to make his brother Harun his helper?
Ages 5–8: Team siblings. Do a task together with a sibling or friend as a team.
Ages 9–12: Brotherly help. Write three ways siblings can support each other's faith.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."
Talk together:
