4-I guide
And We told him the happy news of Ishaq, a prophet and one of the righteous.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the happiest news you can imagine for a family?"
Watch the IQRA Cartoon video Prophet Stories: Ishaq.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things are said about Ishaq?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who was Ishaq's mother?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 112. The key word bashsharnahu means We gave him good news. After the great test with his first son, Allah gave Ibrahim more good news: another son, Ishaq, who would also be a prophet. Ishaq's mother was Sarah, who had waited a very long time for a child.
Fact: Who was the son of Ishaq who also became a prophet?
Ages 5–8: Good news card. Make a card celebrating a baby's arrival with a du'a inside.
Ages 9–12: Two sons, two lines. Draw a simple family tree showing Ismail's and Ishaq's lines of prophets.
Finish with: "I found that Ishaq's son was ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will congratulate someone on their good news."
Action: Congratulate someone on their good news.
