4-I guide
This was indeed the clear trial.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why does Allah test people He loves?"
Watch the Stories of the Prophets video The Test of Prophet Ibrahim, Part 3. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does Allah describe this event?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What tests do children face?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 106. The key word al-bala' means a test. Ibrahim faced many tests: the fire, leaving home, waiting for children, and this one. He passed them all with trust. Our tests are smaller: being patient, telling the truth, sharing. Each one is a chance to grow closer to Allah.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Baqarah says Allah tested Ibrahim with commands and he fulfilled them?
Ages 5–8: Test and grow. Draw a small plant growing taller after each test it passes.
Ages 9–12: My tests. Write three tests you face and one way to pass each.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Baqarah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will face one small test with patience."
Action: Face one small test with patience.
